We’re getting two big truckloads of compost and will be building beds, spreading that compost, and planting.

We’re also looking for tools for the gardens! If you have them, bring by your old leaky hoses, wheelbarrows, hand tools, shovels, and spades. Leaky hoses are especially helpful as soaker hoses, which will be hooked up to rain barrels and help conserve water.

Looking forward to getting our hands dirty!

  • Tours* every half hour for $5 (half the regular price!).
  • Good folks, good music, good fun!

We’ve made great progress over the year; come see what’s changed! Street parking is available, and of course there’s always the CTA.

*Kids are welcome with their parents on tours, but please keep close watch of them – it can be dangerous in the building.
