Great news! We’re finalists in the BOOST competition put on by the Delta Emerging Leaders, a committee of the Delta Institute that empowers young leaders to develop and advance the green economy. The acronym stands for “Building Opportunities for Original and Sustainable Thinking” and is a $3,000+ grant that we would use to build prototypes of our vertical/floor-to-ceiling farming systems we’ve been designing.
But to win, we need your help! Come on out next Wednesday, May 30, by 7:00 pm to The Den Theater (1333 N. Milwaukee Ave, 2nd Floor). Each of five finalists gets to make a quick presentation to you, the audience, to get your vote on who gets the prize! Join us to show your support and get us much needed funds to continue to expand our farm.
